Compose LA

  • The York Manor 4908 York Boulevard Los Angeles, CA, 90042 United States (map)

We're thrilled to be taking part in Music x Ideas x Space = Compose LA, Los Angeles' first-ever city-wide music and lecture series. From February 6 to February 27, experience the intersection of music and ideas at historic concert venues and hidden underground spaces throughout the city.

The inaugural theme: What is Human, What is Race?

For this concert, we are proud to partner with Bridge to Everywhere, the Department of Cultural Affairs, the American Composer's Forum of Los Angeles, and Kensington Presents. Katherine In-Young Lee, an Assistant Professor of Ethnomusicology at UCLA, moderates a discussion with Derrick.
